TransCAN MS4x – E8x / E9x is a proprietary device designed for swap projects where engines based on MS4x / DDE4 control units from E38, E39, E46, E53 and E83 models are installed in BMW E8x and E9x series vehicles.

The device enables the instrument cluster and many important vehicle functions to operate correctly after a swap. Without proper CAN communication, these systems may not work as intended. TransCAN MS4x significantly simplifies electronic integration and increases the functionality of the finished project.

• cruise control,
• alternator status information,
• low oil pressure information.
